Areas of Expertise
In his 35 years experience, Chris Langley has been qualified in all facets of pest control. He was part of the research team for 5 years that promoted changes to termite management in the early 90's and instigated use of detection devices such as the moisture meter and optical borescope, now widely employed by industry.
Chris is currently a technical service provider on termite management to the Queensland Building Services Authority (BSA) and an expert witness at the Consumer & Commercial Tribunal in litigation.
Establishing in south-east Queensland for the past 8 years and being T.A.F.E. qualified to Cert. III Pest Management and Cert. IV Training and Assessment, Chris holds a current Qld. Pest Controller Licence no: 11219 and also teaches for Qld. BIT-TAFE. He has co-wrote the Qld. OLI-TAFE course on Timber Pests and while being based at the Gold Coast, has consulted in other states and overseas on termite problems.
Fully licensed and qualified in all aspects of termite biology, technical support, training and assessment, has given Chris a unique position within the pest control industry to provide Expertise and Consultancy services to the public and is a current consultant service provider to the Building Services Authority, Licence no: 79664 he carries out investigation reports for dispute notifications against termite inspections and new building termite treatments.
